Delta D Ring
This D-Ring was created to solve a specific problem with tensile shade structures. The rounded interior of a standard D-Ring allows the shackle connecting the fabric shade to the column to move freely in as wind and snow loads act on the fabric shade. as a result, the shifted D-Ring causes the belting attaching the fabric to the D-Ring to bunch up. this is not only not ideal aesthetically but also created a week point that causes the shade to rip more often. By creating a triangular interior, the shackle is held to a singular point on the D-Ring while still allowing movement and preventing the belting from bunching up.
