Surface Bridging

This lamp was an exploration in the ideas of
melting the center of an object until the center
becomes viscous enough to pull apart creating an effect similar to riping a mozzerela stick in two. The form was acomplished by bridging two surfaces in Grasshopper. Next, I sliced the form in craftware, printed it on my CR-10 and added 4 LED bulbs powered by a 9 battery.
